The original name of Anyang Art Park was Anyang Amusement Park. Anyang had been a grape producer where there are streams derived from Samsung ridge of Gwanak Mountain and forests. Grapes with high sugar content had been wiped out and changed into an amusement park involved with entertaining facilities for Gwanak and Samsung mountain hikers.

Yet this park had been renovated by cleaning surroundings such as eliminating facilities that damaged nature. Its name changed into Anyang Art Park where works of art compatible with nature were installed and citizen visit to stroll.

 

he "Anyang Public Art Project" launched in 2005 aims for making the city for culture; the first stage of which was to reorganize Anyang Art Park. Works of 52 famous domestic and foreign artists were installed in natural environment where people stroll alongside the river and appreciate these art masterpieces. 

This park integrated with various themese retains entertaining artfacts for experience. Visitors can visit and touch a variety of products by which they get more familiar with products instead of simple appreciation and observation.

The observatory seeing the bird-eye view of the entire city is a must-go attraction. Street is reticent with few people at senset during the winter season. River was now frozen where people take rest under shade and children play swimming during the summer.

Yet as the factory relocated, this was renoated to this museum. He was the first ever modern architect contributing to building milk industry. His works include France Embassy in Seoul and Peace Gate etc. Milk Industry was his primary accomplishment by adding sculpture into the building.
